Yup, but for the sake of keeping it simple and not increasing the price of installation, the kit is a better option for her.

Unless she isnt telling us something and she is awesome with a wrench.

What are the exhaust laws in NY? Do they do visual or sniff test? Something to keep in mind as high flows will not pass a visual test.

Thanks all for all your inputs. I would like to keep it the least expensive as possible as I just had to pay for a divorce. So although I wouldn't mind going for the one with the cats not welded, this would mean a few extra bucks for the GT bumper. Furthermore, I was actually going to ask how hard would it be if I wanted to try it myself. By far I'm no expert, I know my ex did it his exhaust on his 98' Cobra, I'm not afraid to get under my car. Is that easy enough for me to do it myself?

Like I said before, I am not to versed in doing mods to a car. Sorry, I have no idea what these test are? Are these test during the inspection process?

Either dual exhaust kit linked to will install fine with your stock v6 bumper, you do not have to get the gt bumper, and it's pretty easy to swap, just unbolt the old and bolt back the new. Make sure you use jack stands and wheel chocks when gettin under your car.

Its an easy swap, extra hands and jack stands will help a lot.

Find a friend (Or make some new ones ) that will help you with the swap.

Figure a day project out of it just to take it easy and enjoy the swap instead of rushing through it.

All depends who you take it too. I've gotten vehicles to pass that truly shouldn't have just cause of who I took it to. Cops really don't seem to care as long as you're not constantly revving and making a ruckus
