This noise is very annoying. Ive just changed the alternator, belt, and pulley. Im not sure if its the tensionor or water pump or maybe even the synchronizer. Any suggestions?
Which pulley? It could be the bearings in any of the idler or tensioner pulleys. The one I have a problem with is behind the SC (passenger side idler) where it gets hot. Y
Depending on the pulley, the pulley could be out of alignment. Either way, pick up a mechanics stethoscope from our local autoparts store and start poking around until you find the source of the noise. Good luck...
What are symptoms of a bad cam sync besides a chirp.I have a chirp and when the chirp gets the loudest every once in awhile it'll make my car almost stall then two seconds later the car will be fine and the chirp is barley noticeable could this be the cam sync

My bad cam synchro did exactly that, actually killed the engine once because the bushing drug (for lack of a better word) and squealed so hard it pulled the engine down enough to kill it. Got it replaced immediately after that. I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from for a while. Checked the belts, pulleys, water pump, alternator, etc. Sometimes the chirp would go away for weeks, then return. Finally, once it started getting cold in the winter, it got really bad. Local mechanic told me it was probably the cam synchro because he's seen the bushings wear out on them. Sure enough, that's what it was.
Here's a video of what mine sounded like when it was doing it's normal chirp at idle:
