I think really the cost here for him (money no issue) would be what would bring him the most enjoyment. Would it be the v6 or the next best alternative which would be getting a more powerful car. Sorry I might be going to deep into this. So ya, um, if you have the money the there are ways haha.
^^^^ Point exactly ^^^^

As stated, if you have it and don't care, then by all means, go for it and have something cool and unique.

However with that said, most people that own the old 3.8L V6 don't generally have the financial ability to do that with these older cars, hence why they own them, they're old and cheap.

However with that said, are an almost ideal setup for certain kinds of racing, but again, it takes a ton of cash to get them to perform where they would need to.

From a guy whose own a V6 for a little...don't waste your money on these cars

Please listen to some of us. A lot are right how modding a V6...especially these models is completely pointless. You want to add an exhaust? Go for it. Make it sound loud. You want to add a tune with an intake? Go for it. It won't get you far. The only way this car makes power is by a SC, and even that won't even pull you ahead...gives you only 300 + RWHP which is a complete joke by spending $3000. Spend $3000 on a V8 GT, and see the difference

I'm not saying this to be a jerk. Hell, I have a V6 myself. But I've learned the differences over the years. You can make it look nice, and make it sound loud...but by the end of the day, it is still a V6. I am selling my car + saving money to put down payment on a Z06.

If you have the money, and time go for it, personally, I don't have time to work on my cars, I want to hit the key and go. For the price of what 99-01 GTs are bringing though its kind of hard to justify unless your really set on building the 6er
