so I have a 98 vertible with fraying seat belt on one side and a non retracting one on the other side. does anyone have any and can a belt from another year work I saw a set on ebay from a 02 and they claim it fits. my issue is the 98's has a upper and lower retractor. the set they show only has the upper retractor. will this actually work, it appears there is a difference between the coupe and the vertible.

You will need convertible belts, but you can use belts that only have the upper retractor, they will bolt in fine, I hate the double retractors myself.
