Default 2000 V6 stuttering/misfiring

I've been having this problem for quite some time. My 2000 Mustang V6 sputters and occasionally i get a code p0301 cylinder 1 misfire. It tends to stutter mainly a low speeds but can be felt all the time. When braking the rpm's dip and it feels like the car wants to stall then bounces a few time and goes back to normal. I've taken it my my mechanic with no permanent fix. I've been lurking on this forum trying some fixes. So far I've tried:

replacing plugs/wires/coil pack
change EGR valve/sensor
changed the ECU
no vacuum leaks
compression is fine
fuel injectors have been cleaned or replaced
changed the cam sensor
changed the IAC

List of mods done so far
BBK 65mm throttle body
Longtube headers
O/R h pipe
CAI

you have mods that could result to that, when did that happen before or after the mods?
most of the fixes you have could have resolved that issue.

try a leak down test again on that cylinder..
