Default Wiring key-less entry

I have two remotes. Original one from Ford that unlocks and locks the car, and a Prestige remote control for my alarm. The guy who installed the alarm system for me said it would be $25 cheaper to have them separate.
I was wondering how I could do it myself where the alarm remote would also unlock/lock my car.

You have to find the correct wiring diagram for your car, then you have to look for the door lock/unlock trigger wire. It should be located in the drivers side kick panel.
You will also need the installation instructions from your Prestige alarm system because not all remote entry boxes work like the next. There may be a jumper you need to install or remove to change the unlock signal from 12v to Ground, because some cars use a ground signal from the body control module while some use a 12v signal to trigger it. I haven't ever done one in a mustang so I cant say for sure how its set up.

your alarm should have wires for the door lock/unlock, you just simply tap them (on most remote alarm system) to the wires in your door boot. there's a note that since the door wires are connected to the GEM module you need to use diodes to isolate them.
