j/k man lol.....ive talked to you some over on 3.8 and yeah you take alot of flaming. but welcome to mf. get some rims and a drop on that thing, and get rid of the side decals. would look 100 times better then

yea, he man i remember ya... i figured i would run into a few 3.8 ppl... lol but anyway rims will be comming and also a drop, side decal stays... lol btw i love your car!!

Ive had the same situation as you. Got my car when i was 15, two yrs ago. All it had was the tint (which im re-doing) and I added 18" rims, new headlights, and recently dual flowmasters. Take a look at my car.
yea, i got my car when i was i think... 17... and i added alot of visual to it but no engine stuff at all bc im putting in a v8.. but thanks for the comments, your car looks hott as well love a clean silver stang!

are you building ur own 302? or pulling it out of another car.. ur gunna get alot of "buy a GT,instead of putting in a v8." this is because it costs sooo much more to do a v8 swap. i would comment on ur car, but im at school so i cant see the picture.

ahh here it comes........ yes i am builing my own 302.. it came out of a 88 mustang gt.. we are making it carburated and from all the ppl ive talked to and all the stuff i read it will be a tough but doable swap... now heres this....

reasons NOT TO GET A GT:
-im in college and dont have enought money for higher insurance and car payment
-all the work/labor will be for free since mybrother can do it along w/ ppl he knows
- my body is in near perfect shape, ( besides 2 tiny tiny tiny lil rust spots on door)
- this car has HUGE sentimental value and i love it thats why im not getting a GT.


a gt would cost around 8-10K as the swap total will only cost i estimate 3-4K w/ no car payment due to me owning the car...

3-4k will get you over 300 rwhp on a v6... and you still need to notify the ins company you have a v8

engine is pushing 170K miles not going to waste money on it...

i was told by numerous ppl that it goes by the vin number on the car... if the vin number reads v6, it will be a v6 on record.. thats what i was going by.. still i dont have money to buy a new stang thats why im going to do an engine swap

IF the 302 gives me problems. i will sell it and get a 4.6L to put in.
