Should I buy this Mustang?

I'm still gonna check it out, but I'm not set on this one.
I found a year 2000 with 125k miles. The dealer has great reviews, but they almost look fake IMO. Here's the link: http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8...ed=0CBUQ8gEwAA
They're selling it for $4000, but I could try to talk them down to $3300 by bringing the KBB and Edmunds print-outs.

They must have really dropped in price, or maybe just cheaper down south? Less than a year ago I sold my 01 with 105k and a few aesthetic mods and performance mods that really don't increase the value a ton for 5,500. But if they are that cheap down there definitely don't pay over 3,500 for one unless its under 100k miles. Good luck either way! Not going to claim my 3.8 was the best thing ever but I sure loved the car and it is missed borderline daily.

You getting 5500 for a mustang with 105k on it is an exception, rather than the rule. To be blunt, you got LUCKY. Back on track here, if you are expecting to get great gas mileage out of v6, you are sadly mistaken, my old 2000 was horrible on gas, and wasn't fast for consuming so much fuel. I did a full tune-up when I bought it and still sucked up gas like no other. If you can't do a clutch yourself, a shop will do it for around 5-6 hundred. I bought mine for 2500, super clean, just needed a clutch (throw-out bearing was squealing when clutch was engaged) and a power steering pump. I sold the old 95 for 700 bux, more than covered the clutch and power steering issues. ALL said and done, I had right around 2500 into it with fresh clutch, tune-up, and new power steering pump. I say PASS, but if it's worth a look, no harm in window shopping.
