Head on collision with a guy that I believe ran a stop sign. Still waiting to see what the insurance says.

Yep...feels weird driving Selena again and WOW, talk about a huge difference in feel and technology. Selena drives like a race car compared to my 08 and 11, it's much more stiff and ridged feeling, not nearly as smooth. But that's old versus new technology. Had a shop look over the engine and said the work was very well done only thing wrong was the IAC valve needed to be adjusted and that the old gas needs to be ran out which is why it was running so rough but continues to improve.

Tomorrow I'm putting insurance on the car, getting a new brake tag, and having the front suspension looked at. I think I need a new tire. Had one balanced today and it was out of round. Darn thing is jumping all over.

I will find out tomorrow if the 08 will be insured or totaled. As of now it's on the fence depends on the blue book value they use. Initial estimates look like around $8000 in damage with a peak of $12000 in damage. The main frame is fine but the front frame (which the radiator attaches to) is smashed. The radiator missed my engine by less than 1/4 of an inch. The impact sensor was pushed back over 4" but didn't deploy the air bags (thank god not something I wanna feel).

The really good thing is the insurance adjuster was taking the value of all my mods in his notes, so if it is fixed he said they're putting them back on.

And I just put on that Roush grill and chin spoiler....I'm gonna try to talk them into giving me an aftermarket Elanor style front bumper.

That seems like minor damage for 8-10k, would you buy it back if totaled?

Final estimate was $9786.50 in damages. It will take them approximately 10 days to repair.

While the damage looked minor it really wasn't, once they got the hood off you could see all the damaged the components. The s-197s are built out of nothing but plastic in the front. Only thing there that is still is the frame and the radiator support. The frame was fine the radiator support was smashed.

Here are the girls as of now...
