Default You are not going to believe this!

It poured ran here the frirst of the week, and I have not left home because of the weather and my hip. So I went down to get in my car yesterday and the passager side was flooded with rain water. I get pissed as you think I would and decide I am headed right to the Ford dealer to get it fixed and cleaned. Well when I go to start it it will not start. I have the free towing and all and when we get it to the Ford dealer they call me back later to tell me it came in through the engine compartment and shorted out everything. I could kill someone right now. They have to fix it all, but the fact it happened at all is pissing me so off. I look forward to getting to drive her on Fridays on the open road and now she is in the shop for God knows how long. This sucks. [sm=headbang.gif]

Please ask the dealer where this is coming in from so we will know where to look. There are a ton of MF users having this problem and the more info we have the better.

The Hood Scoop does not go through the hood.

Nope, it was on even pavement. It even had SUVs parked on either side of it blocking most of the wind and rain. It was one big storm that came through.

That goes without question. Most everyone on here has always been such a help; I will be on here as soon as I know what is going on. They are drying it out this weekend and seeing if everything is OK, then they are going to try and see what is going on. The good thing is that I have the complete service contract with them (got it for free) and they are going to make it all right and I get to try out a new Escape till they get it fixed, right off the lot. It is not a Stang but my wife likes it and we are looking for her a new SUV. SO I guess if I look hard enough, and that is real hard, there is a very tiny silver lining.

That and ND won, yeah baby.

Alot of people would like to know if the water is coming
in through the cowl(s) and running into either a hole or an
opening in the body panels. Please follow up, after talking
with the service tech who seals up your stang, thanks very
much
