I was emailing them back in December because I was interested in the turbo. They raised the price as of the first of the year. It's $5200, plus $800 for installation, plus fluids. And if you're from out of town, they need to keep the car for a week (that's what they told me). I went for the X-Charger in the infamous group buy. Can't wait for it to get here and get the 'stang all fired up!!!!

Yes, rising material costs, so they went up in price about 400 more dollars. Still very much worth the price.

yea they gotta make money, but god damn dude....that is alot of cash. I am most likely going all motor (heads/cams full bolt ons) anyway, but it just surprised me that it rose that much in price. There is no way i could bring myself to spend that much without including a locker, maybe some lca's, and all the other stuff i want to do. damn dude...this just depresses me. I have about 3 grand right now which is why n/a looks so good. i can do all the bolt ons that i want right now (maybe get a few for my birthday...which is feb 14 if you wanna send me somethin btw) and go heads/cams later after i make a bit more cash. my parents did offer to pay for me to get a turbo/blower if i payed install next school year....i just hate having my parents pay for something like that, i'd rather pay for it myself....but it's kinda startin to look like the way to go. i dono...it just seems like everything is getting so damn pricey while other cars are getting the same **** for way less money. I guess it's because there are very few companies producing stuff for our cars and the demand is growing alot.

Doesn't suprise me at all. It suprised me more that they were only asking $4600 for it!Turbos are waymore efficient with boostthan superchargers. Reminds me even more why I did go with a blower lol. With what the install costed me with the blower plus the cheap gauge pod and 2 gauges I got I would have been at $6800 -$7000 total with the turbo, thats wayout of my leauge lol!$5700 - $6000 with the blower.I honestly didn't think they would raise the price thoughbut thats about right for it I would imagine. Its not a Civic.

One of these days i will be in the F/I group. TMATURBO.com better be around when i get there. $3,600 for a single turbo kit isn't bad at all, add maybe another grand for labor, and i am there!!
