Default Boost gauge install

Has anyone installed a boost gauge themselves? I am trying to install a mechanical boost gauge and i thought you just connected it to a vacuum line off the intake manifold but thats not working. Need help fast. Thanks

Got it fixed i talked to scrming and he told me to drive it. It won't build boost just revving Works great and i am getting about 12.5 lbs of boost now with the new 2.87 pulley.

yeah it stays in vacum when just reving it.

Could you post a picture of where you ran the line for the boost gauge? I am having trouble finding any kind of consistent information. I have a Vortech kit and I would really like some kind of an idea lol.
