Default Dealership

I just got the oil changed in my brothers Bullitt. Iasked the guy at the counter are they able to install the new dual exhaust from Ford Racing. He said no because it is aftermarket and I said its made by Ford he still said no because its aftermarket. Guess have to go a speed shop and have it done.

That sucks, I spoke with my local Ford dealer and they told me that they would be glad to do any work I needed. In fact they said if they do the work depending on the mod my factory warranty would not be voided.

I think it all depends on the dealer. If you go to one that specializes in Ford Racing Parts, they will likely do the install. I know there isat least one Ford dealerin my area that does that kind of work.

Call around.

You gotta be kidding! You wouldn't believe how helpful that my dealership has been. They have even told me that they would like to install my Procharger, whenever I decide to buy it. They told me that they would like their mechanics to have experience installing them, so that they could gain a reputation as the place to go to have major mods done. They told me that they would give me a reduced price forlabor. They have already installed my 3:73's as well as helping me with aftermarket exhaust stuff. Your local Ford guy sounds a little goofy, I'd go somewhere else.

Where do you live with such a good dealer? That's how all dealers should be.

You should be able to slap that system in yourself with a little help.
It looks like it would all just bolt together seeing how its sold by Ford.

F*** the dealership. Lately they have been a pain in my *** about non-stock crap. Hell thats not even with my mustang but my jeep too. They wanted me to pay 800+ for a V4 header and the work time and thats BS. Yeah I have a local shop that does all my work because of crap like that.

I have worked on V4 engines but all of them have been diesels, mostly Detroit, that are used for generation. Never seen one in a Jeep.
