JLT cold air intake questions
Hey everyone, I'm about to pull the trigger on a JLT intake for my 07 pony. I've had bama tunes for a while with just a K&N drop in and already it feels much stronger so I can't wait to try it with this intake and a new set of tunes.
Has anyone had any problems with a CAI and elevation changes? I spend about half the year at sea level and the other half of the year between 3,000 and 6,000 feet.
Also does anywhere around the $200 mark sound like the standard going price for the JLT cold air intake for the V6?
Thanks for your help.

i spend half my time in baltimore (30 feet above sea level) and the other half in the mountains for college (2500ft above sea level) and I do see a difference between the two with the C&L, nothing major performance wise though

Well I did it, ordered the CAI last night and my tunes are on the way from Bama. I thought of one more question in the mean time: how often do some of you take your filter off, wash it, and oil it? I have ready anywhere from every 3,000 miles (oil change time) up to 25,000 (which seems like a very long time). Thanks

It's in and its' great. Only took about 20 minutes or so to install and it works great. I'm just running the 87 performance tune right now because I've got a quarter tank of that gas left...I've had it stock for a few weeks. I love the sound it makes when you step on the gas and the exhaust tone sounds a little better too. Another day or two and I'll be ready to fill up on premium!
