Default 2011 V6 Ecoboost

I was at the dealership yesterday and the salesman said the 2011 Mustangs should be coming out and June. I asked about the eco-boost twin turbo and the smiled at me.

Anyone confirm or deny we'll be offered the 3.5L for the V6? Kinda out of the loop on this.

The 2011 V6 engine specs have been confirmed as 3.7 liter duratec twin variable cam timing, putting out 305 horsepower.

Highly unlikely to get the eco-boost in the Mustang (anytime soon). The difference in HP between that and the v8 are too small. You wont see the eco-boost until the 5.0 is bumped up in HP. They will eco-boost the V8 before the V6 Plus the 3.7 gets better MPG ratings.

Yea I dont think theyd want an eco boost sixxer keeping up with their 5.0 lol.

I heard the 2014 50th anniversary is going to have the 5.0 with 500 hp in the GT and that may be when they use eco boost in the mustang v6...
