Now I think my car is making a ticking sound. I can only hear it outside of the car while it is running. If i pop the hood it sounds like it is coming from drivers side.

I am not sure if this has always been there and now I notice it or if this is something from the spark plug change.

Double check your spark plug wires. Maybe you didn't fully seat them on the new plugs. Make sure they "clicked" on to be fully seated. That could account for some of the issues you are hearing

I'll check them after work. I did not put dielectric grease in them as recommended by the plug wire instructions, should i do this as well?

Yes.

Also I would recommend that you regap your spark plugs to 0.054" as the car manual states.

And if you haven't replaced all of your spark plugs yet I would do so.

I checked all the new plug wires and one was a tiny bit loose. I put it fully on and the tick is still there! Not I am starting to wonder if the tick was present before the spark plug change and now I am noticing it because I am looking at the engine while on with the hood open.

Here is a video of the tick. Sounds like only on the drivers side then on the passenger side near silent. As a reminder, the passenger side is the side I couldn't finish before sunset. The weather went from 60 to 25 so that is why I am wondering if I should wait to finish the other two.

When that plug broke broke, hopefully pieces did not fall down into the spark plug hole (cylinder). I cringed when I saw that, but hopefully it broke before you got it completely out of the theads, and thereby the pieces missed going down into your cylinder.

Older cars are easier to work on, as there is usually more room. Also, the wires can be removed one at a time, like my Dad taught me. Hope you replaced the other two.
