How about a twist to a meet and have a wash and wax somewhere one day...
only trouble I can see if where to have access to a hose that will be able to house a few mustangs and spots to wax in shade. but just tossing it out as an idea.

I have a power invertor so we just need a place thats shaded and has access to a hose

Well my Mom just bought a house in P-Town and it has a carport (and a swimming pool) so if all else fails we could do it there. I washed my car over there last weekend and waxed it under the carport.

OK, I just ordered my buffer and some other things so I should be ready to go next weekend. If anyone wants to do a wash/wax day with me then just let me know and I will get you the information about when and where I'm doing it. I plan on doing a full detail - clay, polish, wax, engine cleaning, etc.

P.S. - Rob I know you wanna get that car ready for the Smithfield show....

Yeah I am game I tried out the new liquid polish and butter wax from armor all today on the stang with not much success the wax is very nice but polish sucks donkey ***** but was worth the shot since after rebate it was free. I just bought a clay bar kit also so I am so game for doing it. I have a craftsman orbital buffer also just need new pads.
PS the show im referring to is this one. for anyone else that wants to go to the show.
On May 7, 2011 SEVMC will host our 4th Annual Spring All Makes, All Models Car, Truck and Motorcycle show. The show will be held at the Fairfield Shopping Center located on the corner of Kempsville Road and Providence Road in Virginia Beach. Pre-registration is $20 if received by 30 April, $25 day of the show. Show hours are 9 am to 4 pm with registration from 9 am - noon. Hey Rob I'm going to be doing a full detail on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I plan on paint correction, polishing, and waxing along with an engine bay clean/detail. Sunday I plan on painting my brake calipers, interior detail, and headlight/turn signal tint. I also posted on PME so get up with me if you want to check it out. I'm willing to spare some of my Pinnacle stuff if you're wanting to try it. Anybody else?
