Default Micky Thompson et street tire size?????

Its time to buy some street radials now since the i completed my engine build. I want to get Mickey Thompson et street but now sure what size. I have been told I can fit a 28" tall and 10.5 wide. Is this true?

Also in looking at their website under the discription its 28X11.50-16LT so is it 28 " tall and 11.5 wide\???

Help please need to order them asap

Thanks George

I ran an ET Street 27x10.5 and it was somewhat tight. Was size rim/backspace are you using?

Are you looking for a radial, or a bias ply wrinkle wall?

I wondered the same. He said street radial, but is talking bias-ply sizes. To the OP, if I remember right, a 275/60 and 28x10.5 bias are in the same ballpark-size.

I hope you dont plan on using them as DD tires.

but yes, flotation sizes are Diameter x width x rim size

I (among others) have had better sucess with the ET radial than those bias-ply's. Especially if you drive on the street; it made the bias-plies not as "sticky." Whichever you choose, a Mickey Thompson tire is hard to beat (I sound like a salesman lol)

No its not a DD just for cruising and I want to be sure when I do step on it at a light / track im not going to be going sideways in first and second gear. Ok so im going to go with 26X11.50-17LT these should fit right. In the discription is says the tire width is 9.5 ( but in above it says 11.5 confused) and over all diameter is 26.5

you cant run 17" tires on your 16" wheels.

and I strongly suggest you get the radials... not the bias play wrinkle walls

This thread appears to have been moved from the 5.0 section...???

Anyway, the questions I would have asked, have already been said and some I would never had thought of as well.

.... as you were
