Default changing to new wheels on my 91 LX 5.0

I now have the 2001 bullet wheels, but want to change out to a set of FR500 wheels in a 17x8 F & 18x18 R. Shouldn't be any clearance issues should there? Anybody out there put 10-10.5's on their fox?

It can be done, I have seen it in pictures. But as far as I know it's not like slapping them on a New Edge. I THINK some stuff has to be done. What stuff that is I'm not sure so I can't be a big help lol. I'd deff do some reading around to see what has to be done.

With the "exact" off-set, a 10" wheel can be run, but looking at a 275 as about your max width. You will need to likely remove your quad-shocks (possibly just flip them) and some fender rollng for sure and some Sister Sledge and MC Hammer on the inside for clearance.

This issue has come up a lot lately. Go back page by page until last couple weeks and will see several threads for wide wheels on the Fox.

Might have to roll the lips with a 10" wheel on a FOX! ....275's also pretty tight as well, but work!

o yea and you have to remove your rear quad-shocks for clearance but your going to have a lot of wheel hop so you have to put lower control arms and that would solve that problem.

A 265 tire seems to be pretty stretched IMHO on a 10" wheel....
