How Far Would You Go for the Ultimate Horsepower Mustang?

Youtuber drove nine hours to pick up the baddest Coyote short block motor ever built, rated for more than 2,000 horsepower.

Some people might consider driving nine hours to pick up an engine a little crazy. Those people are not Mustang fanatics. Popular YouTuber ItsJusta6 has been working tirelessly on his Mustang build. He found out about a savage Mustang built engine for his 5.0 GT. Naturally, he grabbed some friends and hit the road.

ItsJusta6 (aka Gavin Simon) shows up at an ungodly hour to check out the engine. It is everything he wants, and worth the drive to Nashville, Tennessee. And hey, while in Nashville, Simon planned a pop-up meet for some awesome Mustang action.

MMR 1500 Series Short Block for Mustang

The engine is a Modular Motorsports (MMR) 1500 pro-mod series short block, and she is a beautiful beast. The Gen 2 Coyote block has Manley forged pistons and connecting rods, MMR pistons with Redfire coating, a forged Boss 302R crankshaft, and was made to take on more than 1500 HP solidly.

Once they have the engine, they head off to the pop-up meet. And it is huge! Unfortunately the Nashville PD show up pretty quickly. But no worries. They are very cool about it, and the meet continues.

The Mustang community is out in full force, and there are tons of awesome burnouts and great shots of Mustangs revving, showing up and showing off, and just generally being awesome. Definitely check it out!

As for the build, stay tuned to Simon’s ItsJusta6’s YouTube channel for more on the progress of this dominating MMR engine, or give him a follow on Instagram.
