Matt Farah Throttles Fox Body Through LA Canyon
Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire is single-handedly bringing up the value of Fox Body Mustangs. So much so that I’ve seen them go from a few thousand bucks to close to ten thousand in the last year. While that’s still not really an expensive car in the grand scheme of things, you have to remember, these cars are no spring chickens.
While the cars may be climbing in value, a select group of tuners have taken it upon themselves to build these ponies into some of the most epic street and autocross cars around. Such is the case with the 1990 Mustang GT in TST’s newest “One Take” video below.
Watch and be in awe at the way this 25-year-old car handles all the twisty bits in LA County. It still amazes me that you can huck one of these Fox Body Mustang’s into a corner and not come out the other side screaming because you’ve gone off a cliff.
If you still want a Fox Body, or want to turn one into something like this GT or the car Matt’s building, you had better get on it, because the prices aren’t coming down anytime soon.
