High Speed Drifting: American Muscle Catches Up With Vaughn Gittin, Jr.

Formula Drift Champion and RTR brand creator, Vaughn Gittin, Jr., has really stepped up to be one of the top talents in Ford’s pool of drivers. From his “Ready To Rock” brand of custom Mustangs to drifting all over the world, if it was Mustang, it was also Vaughn. And here we have American Muscle catching up with Vaughn, while the Maryland native was down at Summit Point Motorsports Park testing some new parts for the RTR brand.

As if drifting in Japan, the Middle East, Europe, and here in the U.S. wasn’t enough of a full time job, Gittin also tests his own brand of parts under the RTR banner. You can buy all of the parts at a Ford dealer who is also an RTR dealer, or from American Muscle. Vaughn puts down his own personal stamp of approval before they reach the shelves. Of course, it’s not just being able to drive the Mustang hard in a straight line or even around corners: Gittin puts these parts under the stress of drifting at 70 mph.
