It looks like the secret to Roush’s longtime success in the world of Mustangs is finally out of the bag.
Sure, a lot of it has to do with the fact that the performance company consistently offers a great line-up of aftermarket parts and custom variations on the Mustang. But behind-the-scenes helping to drives sales at a dealership in Gastonia, North Carolina is a guy known as the Crazy Mustang Man, who has to be one of the most energetic car pitchmen you’ll ever find.
The spokesperson’s real name is Lyle Sturgis. But just how good is he? Well, good enough to earn Tindol Ford the top spot as the number one Roush Dealer in the world, according to the company. And what’s a pitchman without a promo video, like the one posted below featuring Mr. Sturgis in full character?
That said, I’m not quite sure I personally would be able to handle Mr. Sturgis trying to sell me a Mustang one-on-one. His technique might be a little too intimidating for a person who prefers a more subtle approach when shopping for a car.
