Default Electric Radiator Fans / Voltage Drop

Hello, I have. 93 GT. Having issues and I need help. I have had an erratic idle. I smoked the engine and found leaks which I fixed. I put in a new IAC. I can now get the car to idle properly and have done the base idle reset. The problem is when the car heats up, the dual electric fans infront of the radiator turn on and the voltage drops, the idle drops and hunts. After the fans cycle off the idle returns to normal but as soon as they turn back on the same problem persists. Battery tests fine. Is my alternator bad? NEED HELP!!!

Thanks for the reply. I think I have narrowed it down to my alternator being undersized at 75amps. I’m currently looking for a 130amp alternator and conversion kit.

On my sn95 with the larger alternator you can still tell when the fans kick on, so I'm thinking you're on the right track
