Watch This Tuner Mustang Fight Some Serious Competition
Whether they’re in sleeper form, or as flamboyant as can be, tuned vehicles can pack some serious power and incredible performance. Needless to say, this tricked-out Mustang GT can keep up with some serious sheet metal.
This “Tuner Car Shootout” video features a 2014 Ford Mustang GT tuned by Maximum Motorsports as the protagonist. Don’t let the Mustang’s somewhat-subdued looks fool ya, as this pony car packs enough modifications to make it a world-class performer. That being said, the V8 Coyote engine has actually remained stock, pumping out a very-respectable 420 horsepower.
The majority of the mods have focused on handling and braking:
- Bump steer kit
- K members
- Adjustable front sway bar
- Boss 302 Rear Sway Bar
- Control arms
- JRi Shocks
- Tires: Toyo Proxes R888 295/30-18 (square stance)
- Other: Four-point roll bar, stainless brake lines, Hawk pads, high-temp brake fluid
Watch as Matt Farah and Grand Am Rolex GT champion, Leh Keen, push this bad-boy Mustang against the likes of Porsche, Acura, VW, Nissan, and others.
Enjoy!
