Mustang Mach-E Specs & Pricing Leaked

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Mustang Mach-E starts under $44,000, offers up to 300 miles of range, and the GT blasts to 60mph in less than 4-seconds.

Last night, the clever members of the Mach-E Forum played a URL guessing game over at Ford.com and discovered the motor company had inadvertently posted full photos, specs, and pricing details of the new Mustang Mach-E. Despite a few typos and inconsistencies, we now have a very good look at the all-electric crossover and Ford’s first four-door Mustang.

Recent spy shots and fan renderings were very close, of course, but now we have a better idea of wheel options, which will range from 18-20″, grilles, the roofline, and visual flourishes. More importantly, we have a general sense of the various trim lines as well as performance and range. The most affordable Mach-E is the Select, which starts under $44,000 before potential tax savings, and boasts 255hp and up to 426 ft-lbs of toque in its all-wheel-drive configuration.

The most expensive Mach-E will be the GT trim, which starts just under $60,000. While horsepower and torque figures have yet to be announced, you can expect sub-4-second 0-60 performance and 250 miles of range, which should see the GT just slower than C8 Corvettes and Ford’s latest GT500.

The inside looks reminiscent of a Tesla, with a large touchscreen interface (likely running Sync 4). But, unlike Tesla, Ford included a more traditional gauge cluster behind the driver’s wheel as well as on-wheel buttons. Screengrabs also indicate that you’ll be able to get 47 miles of range in 10 minutes with DC fast charging.

The should-this-be-a-Mustang? enthusiast debate will likely live on for some time, but regardless of its name, this is one handsome and aggressive crossover-style vehicle. And, Ford is clearly diving into the EV market place with equally aggressive pricing and performance features. (Watch out, Tesla.)

It appears First Edition and Premium will arrive first, sometime in late 2020, followed by the Select and California Route 1 models in early 2021. The Mustang Mach-E GT, a 2021 model, should hit dealerships in the Spring of 2021.
