New Ford Performance Video Starring Shelby GT350

Ford is really starting to build up the teases for the new Shelby GT350, and we’re loving every bit of it.
The latest video starts with a prototype GT350 running laps at Virginia International Raceway (better known as VIR). It then moves out to the twisty roads as Dave Harmison, Ford’s development engineer for vehicle dynamics on the new track performance Mustang, provides some insider insight.
The primary focus of the video is centered on the work that’s gone into fine tuning the GT350’s suspension architecture, like MagneRide dampers on all four corners, which is said to give the car an amazing ride as well as steering and handling capabilities.
“By using that and a very elaborate computer and a lot of sensors on the car you can make the car do some pretty astounding things,” says Harmison.
And from what our inside sources tell us about the all-out capabilities of the new Shelby GT350, that’s putting it lightly.
