Roush Active Exhaust App Is a Hit

Don’t you just love how technology is taking over everything?

Okay, love it or not, it is, my friends – and it’s pretty interesting to see how it’s all playing out in the world of performance cars like the sixth-gen Mustang.

Take for example, all the praise the new Roush Active Exhaust system is getting. The app actually gives you the power to control your exhaust note from your phone, as highlighted in a recent Motor Authority report.

Most noteworthy is all the praise the system has gotten for being able to turn a Roush Mustang from a mild mannered sports car into a roaring lion at the touch of a button, as you can see in the video below. Car and Driver seems to be particularly impressed.

The system includes three preset modes (Touring, Sport, and Track) as well as a fourth mode that lets you customize the sound to be as aggressive as you like.
