The limited-edition piece for 2024 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse models adds staggering power to the Coyote-powered pony cars.

With each and every passing pony car generation, multiple aftermarket companies conjure up a massive array of parts and accessories, aimed at altering the car’s looks and performance. Roush Performance is one of the most well-known of those entities, and has provided us with a plethora of parts for the Ford Mustang over the years – including more than one supercharger kit. Thus, it’s certainly no surprise that Roush just debuted its all-new Phase 2, Launch Edition supercharger kit for the 2024 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse.

What is surprising is just how much power this new supercharger kit adds to those 2024 Ford Mustang V8-powered models – 330 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, which results in an output of 810 horsepower and 630 pound-feet – staggering numbers, indeed. For this new kit, Rough teamed up with supercharger maker Magnuson to create the TVS-based huffer, which in this case is finished in Roush Red and etched with Jack Roush’s signature on what will be a limited-production piece.

The supercharger itself is based on an inverted Eaton TVS R2650 unit with a front inlet, dual intercoolers, and an 84mm pulley, which – when coupled with the OEM dual 80mm throttle bodies and induction system – makes 13 psi of peak boost at 7,500 rpm. That inverted design allows for the use of a pair of large, high-efficiency intercoolers, which in this case are paired with a Bosch PCE intercooler pump and a large heat exchanger to keep temperatures down.

In addition to those goodies, the 2024 Ford Mustang Phase 2 Launch Edition Roush supercharger kit comes with twin cone fuel injectors with optimized director plates, billet fuel rails, pre-gapped Ford Performance spark plugs, and a new supercharger belt that utilizes a custom FEAD design and hardware that allow it to run closer to the engine, which reduces the load on the crankshaft for maximum reliability and durability.

Roush’s new limited-edition 2024 Ford Mustang supercharger kit retails for $9,995, is compatible with both manual and automatic transmission-equipped pony cars, comes with a limited parts warranty, and includes all the hardware necessary for installation, plus a Roush Performance Calibration. It hasn’t received an E.O. number, however, so it’s not yet approved for sale or installation in California or states that require such things. However, Roush plans on launching both Phase 1 and Phase 2 supercharger kits for the S650 model in the coming months, and the former will include a full powertrain warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician.
