Peek Inside the Mesmerizing Segerstrom Mustang Collection

Irvine, California is home to one of the best and biggest private Mustang collections in the country, the Segerstrom Mustang collection.

Thanks to these photos by Autoweek, we can peek inside the flawless facility where Ed Segerstrom stores, works on, and simply sits back and enjoys his pristine machines. While the exact number of Mustangs under this roof wasn’t made public, the collection includes heavy hitters like a 1968 GT500 KR, GT350s, Hertz Cobras, Shelby Cobras, a Shelby Cobra Jet, and even a Shelby Series 1. All of them loved and all of them driven regularly.

The Segerstrom Mustang collection is private, and therefore not open to the public, which is a shame. But given the kind of money housed inside the hangar, I certainly can’t blame Mr. Segerstrom for that. And various charity parties and events are held at the facility every year in order to benefit various causes.
