If you’re were hoping to get your hands on the very first 2014 Shelby GT500 Super Snake, forget it. No amount of money in the world would be enough to swing that purchase.
Well, at least not for the next few years.
The Shelby Automotive Museum located in Southern California, home of some of the most classic Shelby cars in the world, will get the first model of the new Grabber Blue pony car bearing the name of the iconic racer, according to a recent Auto Week report.

Although we’re still a bit unsure about exactly what it’ll be called, we’re definitely starting to get a clearer vision of the new Ford Mustang variant expected to replace the Shelby GT500.
Spy photographers recently caught a few shots of what is believed to be a prototype for the Shelby replacement in Michigan, which is expected to be called the Mustang GT350 or Mustang GT500, according to a Motor Trend report.

There’s no way around it, the 2013/’14 Shelby GT500 is a legend. Beyond its killer looks, corner carving abilities and other high-zoot features, it’s got that mighty 5.8L “Condor” cammer motor and it’s a force to be reckoned with! Why with some simple mods and more boost, we’re talking four-digit horsepower with ease!

Little is known about this ultra clean Fox-body coupe with the heart of a GT500, but there’s no missing the fact it’s one bad ride! It not only packs a GT500 motor under the hood, but it’s force-fed by a Lysholm Vortech 3.3L blower sipping on E85 and pushing it all through an automatic. We’re not even sure what it made on the pulls, but just look at that thing! Flawless motor, Weld rims and one heckuva motor swap! Yes please!
