There’s a Lot of Engineering in the New Shelby GT350
So what does it take to get the new Shelby GT350 ready for the world? Well, quite frankly, a lot of engineers, as shown by the newly released Ford Performance video below, which details what Ford has done to make this GT350 the most track capable Ford Mustang ever.
Just watch the video and pay attention to all the details they talk about. They’ve got engineers for tires, engine management, suspension tuning, chassis tuning, transmission engineers. Pretty much every type of engineer you could think of, Ford brought in on the Shelby GT350 project. This is absolutely making everyone of us at the office salivate at what’s to come in the next few months.
The Shelby GT350 is going to go on sale later this year, and won’t fetch as much as Chevy’s Z/28, even though the GT350 is lighter, and has a little more horsepower than the Camaro. It’s going to get mighty interesting in the next few months.
