When you need your Girl Scout cookies delivered in a hurry, you call the Thin Mint Mustang. She has a merit badge for burnouts.

Color is the first thing anyone notices about your car. This initial impact can make an impression; it either makes your car stand out or blend in with the surrounding traffic. Bright reds and yellows always grab attention. But on Mustang, both colors are available from the factory. In fact, red is one of the most popular colors for pony car owners. So how do you get your Mustang to stand out and get noticed at a large event like the 11th Annual Mustang F-Body Meet?

Thin Mint Mustang sn95 turbo 5.4 liter

Youtube channel 1320Video came out to the Missouri meet to take in the all sights and sounds the event had to offer. While moving through the sea of Mustangs and Camaros, the crew came upon a unique New Edge Mustang. The bright green SN-95 is called Thin Mint by its owner.

In an effort to stand out from the crowd, he created the color by combining a vintage 70’s Mach 1 color with the wonderful green from an Aston Martin Vanquish. The Mustang is two-tone, with a black roof and matching black wheels. When she’s lined up at the drags, Thin Mint pops off the black tarmac. So, it’s pretty. But what’s it packing under the hood?

The owner of Thin Mint lets us know on a quick tour of the car. There’s a 5.4 liter V8 from a Lincoln Navigator sending power to the rear wheels. It still uses the stock bottom end despite the fact that there’s a single turbo up front. The owner states the car is running a low 6 seconds in the 1/8 mile drags. Check out the video to see this seriously cool Mustang and let us know what you think of the color in the comments.
