Default Manual brake conversion question

I have a drag only mustang (NHRA legal Stocker) and am considering switching to manual brakes. I looked up manual and power brake reservoirs and they both have 0.875 diameter pistons. Mustangs came with manual brakes, did they have a different pedal ratio? How are they both 0.875" pistons??

So, my question is, has anyone done a conversion to manual brakes and are willing to share a bit? My thinking is, if it's the same master cyl on both power and manual applications, I'll pull the booster and make an adapter plate to mount the reservoir, then modify the pedal ratio to get proper braking pressure.

Thoughts??

I don't know much about it but there is an old thread from yellow bullet with a bunch of info on doing the conversion. Might have the info you're looking for?
