Dear Mr. Roush, Please Build This Mean Green Mustang Machine

We can’t imagine this Roush RST EcoBoost Mustang —  which was on display at the recent Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction — not being a huge hit.

Then again, any 500-plus horsepower machine draped in a matte olive green with racing black accents is bound to be popular.

Dubbed as a “prototype,” this Roush creation features a massive turbocharger upgrade, a Roush Quad-Tip exhaust system, and a full Roush triple-adjustable coil-over suspension system, according to The Mustang News.

The Mustang rides on 20-inch Vossen wheels wrapped in Perelli P-Zero tires. Other details include Dynamikillusions LED headlights, and re-hided Recaro seats.

Prototype, huh? Sure, we’ve heard that before, which often is code for “already in development.” Although, as the video below highlights, Roush typically has a 50/50 rate of putting its concepts into production.

I’m sure I’m not the only one here who hopes this is one Roush Mustang that makes the cut.
