Watson Racing Whips Up One Kick-Butt Mustang

There’s certainly a lot more to this s550 than meets the eye.
Of course, that by no means is intended to negate the looks of this dragster, which features a pretty unique custom paint job, as highlighted in a recent Mustang 360 report.
Still, it’s the performance upgrades that really make this Ford fastback one-of-a-kind. Modified by Watson Racing and Watson Engineering, below are five of our favorite photos of the custom Mustang, accompanied with five of our favorite mods that make this s550 the envy of everyone on the dragstrip.
1. Roughly 30 pounds shed from the nose.

2. Equipped with a TIG-welded tubular K-member and front suspension system.

3. Powered by a custom built 5.0L Coyote with an output of 927 hp and 702 lb.-ft.

4. Fitted with 15-inch rear wheels.

5. Features Moroso/Watson Racing push/pull master kill switch.

So, how high is your envy meter running?
