Default Navigation upgrade ?

I am going to get a newer 2016 ruby red ecoboost premium with Sync 3 Communications & Entertainment System

My question is, it doesn't have navigation. And. Would like to have it. Is I possible the dealer could put a sd card with the maps and software upgrade ?

Not sure if that's possible, however, the 2016s can be upgraded to use Android and Apple car play, which I'm pretty sure allow you to use your google maps app directly on the infotainment screen.

In a word, no. Use Android or Apple car play and you can do on your car whatever you can do on your phone verbally. It is great for answering texts because all you have to do is talk to it.

I use it in our Focus and it uses Google Maps. I love it. The only downside is that Sync won't respond to commands such as change radio station channel while you are using it. It defaults to only commands the phone responds to. You can create texts, listen to messages, enter destinations, anything you can tell your phone to do, the car will allow it. Fortunately, Ford provides enough mechanical buttons to control everything you use most often.
