My 2015 Ecoboost has been throwing an overboots code, and it seems also to be limiting my boost. The vacuum boost stops at 10 and I don't get that turbo surge I usually get. Will a TUNER allow me to override that and get consistent boost without it going into some kind of safe-mode?

 

I meant Over Boost not boots

 

I would check all my vacuum lines for splits of loose connections before trying to override your issues

 

What modifications does the car have currently? Something is causing it to overboost. Exhaust, downpipe, intake, flash, etc?
