I was looking at my dash this afternoon and i noticed that it looks like a sticker! is this true? can i peel that off and replace it with a vinyl decal? the reason i am asking is because i saw this sick GT with a Carbon fiber dash and i want to get that look.

 

If you are talking about your console and dash that faces the driver then you can get about anything you want from this place.

I got a kit a few months ago and I really like it. I heard pros and cons both ways but so far for me, I've not had any problems.

My GT came stock with the carbon fiber dash trim, but I'd like to continue w/ the trim throughout my interior.....does anybody know where Ford gets their carbon fiber dash trim???

bump... I was wondering the same thing.

 

The only option from Ford on the '07is the Carbon (Black) dash - it's not Carbon Fiber. It does have a cross weave type texture though. If yours has Carbon Fiber, it's probably a dealership aftermarket addon.

Hereis a picture of the Carbon (Black Colored) Dash that's the Ford option. This is what I ordered on my car. It's not Carbon Fiber.

As far as the IUP dash panel that runs across the guages and vents - anybody remove/replace thiers? I'm going back and forth on the satin aluminum, but I don't want to tear it off if it's going to look like butt underneath.. thx

 

You can always get an add on carbon fiber kit like this one.

 

Yeah, like Bish says , the wooddashexpert.com kits are pretty nice. I put one in mine, sorry no pics yet.

 

I also have the aluminum dash,It does look like decals but no need to pull them off.
I just painted the edges and the vents and installed the carbon fiber.In the pic you can see the
first kit (from wooddashexperts)the darker kit on the dash is from Mossmustang.I'm not sure who Moss
gets theirs from but their kit was a thinner more flexible carbon fiber.

 

Looks nice - I'm all over that.. I went out to Mossmustangs site - Is that the real carbon fiber set, or the faux?
