Default boss 302 stripe kit-

Hey All, Im new here,

Just looking for some help...
I bought a boss stripe kit but i wanna install it myself and i have never done one before...
so any advice would be appriciated.

because the stripe is on the side and not on a relatively horizontal surface, I am going to have to warn you that you are probably going to end up buying new ones...BUT here is how to do it

clean the side really really well and remove the wax
place some masking tape to mark where you want them to do
spray the surface with windex and keep it wet (dont wipe the windex off, and if it starts to drip spray more)
place the decal gently on the surface, allowing it to slide around (kind of laying over the windex)
adjust the decal to the masking tape
use a rag to gently push down on the decal, and do it in a motion to remove the windex from under the decal


hope this helps, but be warned, it is not as easy as putting on stripes

much easier, flat surfaces are easier because the decal is not prone to sliding while you are trying the make it stick....which then creates those nasty wrinkles
