Default painted calipers

Anyone painted their calipers? Was it hard, worth the time? Spray or brush? Any info would help, I am looking for a weekend project.

Lots have around here tons of threads about it with great info.
I did mine with spray (more colors and cheaper) just tape off well. This is a thread around with exact instruction (web site a guy did) on how to do it. Try to find it with a search, I'll look too and get back to you. It isn't hard at all and takes only a few hours, primer 2 coats, paint 3 coats (spray) or 1 brush and clear coat 2 coats. all high temp. Here is mine,

That looks frickin sweet, especially with the pony and MUSTANG letters. Was that a stencil? I think red calipers with that in black would look awesome. About how much was it? Also how long did you let it dry?

The pony is a sticker from http://stores.ebay.com/Custom-Decals-and-Silver-Bulbs I think I paid $8 for it. Many different colors to pick from.
I'd let the paint dry about 1/2 hour between coats until you put the sticker on befor you place the sticker let it dry for about 1 hour and then place the sticker and you'll be ready for clear coat.

@ everyone else with the color.... Red looks the best on most cars
here is a link with some good shots https://mustangforums.com/m_1903308/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm

I did the white to be different and to because red looks bad with tungsten.

I found a few packages online to paint, but none that had a clear coat. None of the paint shops or car parts stores around here have hi temp clear coat and most doubt its existence. Where did you guys get the clear coat?

Go to like chiefs kragen or discount auto parts also check auto zone or any big auto parts chain.... Clear will only come as a spray.

Thanks for all your help, I went to a few chain auto stores and a few paint stores, but I ended up finding what I needed on Summit racing. Appreciate the help.
