Default Question about spinners

I just bought and received a set of these spinners to mount onto my new deep dish Bullitts that I received from AmericanMuscle.com. It took the guys in the tire shop a little while to figure out how they're supposed to attach to the center of the wheel, but they eventually got it....and then they ran into a problem. As they tried to mount the wheel to the car, they realized there's a black nipple-shaped (for lack of a better word) dust cover affixed to the front wheels, and when they mount the wheel, that cover bumps up against the spinner parts and prevents the wheel from going on. I KNOW other people have these same spinners on their '06 GTs because I've seen pictures of them, so I was wondering how you got it to work. What do we need to do? I don't think the dust cover is supposed to be removed because it's affixed pretty securely, and I think it has to STAY there. So if it stays, how the heck do you get the wheel on with the spinners installed?????

Thanks in advance for ANY input you can provide!

Nick
