Default Side Skirts

Are the side skirts on a V6 the same as the GT the only difference being that the GT are painted? I want to get the GT body kit but I don't want to order parts if i don't have too. Could someone please let me know.
Thanks

I think all the V6's are black, but the painted one's look much better imo. I want to get painted ones or have mine painted to match the body color. I think the mirror housings and chin spoiler would look great painted also so I'm going to ask a local body shop if he could do all three items for me

Why do you have 2 threads asking the same question?

The v6 side skirts are textured, so painting them would take a lot of sanding. Just get some take offs for 79-90 bucks and swap them out... simple install... search for a post on that there is about a million.

the thing is if you guys notice that the v6's front/rear bumpers are higher then the gts. Thats why we have the black ones so the lines follow. if you put on the colored ones it may look awkward without a gt rear and a chinspoiler.

i see what you are saying, mine did a little until i got the gt rear bumper installed. The side skirts still improve the look of the car though even without the gt bumpers. Plus it is more aerodynamic.- o

I don't think it looks too bad with just the skirts, but it definitely looks 100% better with a front and rear bumper or lip to match the lines. Here's how mine looked.

New skirts

Removed the side stripes

Added a 3DCarbon front lip and GT/CS rear facia.
