Default Trunk Blackout

I have seen a few trunk blackout decal kits to black out the area between the taillights. Has anyone installed one of these? Whats a good brand? I do not want something real cheapy looking.

There are a few different 'plastic' type panels you ca choose from;Moss Mustang,CDC to name a few.I went with a vinyl one myself.Prices for these range from 20.00-40.00.
The other ones run about $50-100 and up.You can do a search for 'Blackout panels' here.

SH Racings product is excellent!

I wanted just smooth and black so went with the magnetic blackout from 5.0Resto and love it.

Looks nice! Here's a link:

Did you see this one?

I just can't tell if this one is flat black or glossy black. Of course they don't say! You'd think it would be easier to say than to post the phone number so we all have to call! But then after ordering the slotted taillight covers from Moss Mustang yesterday they called me today to let me know they are on backorder. So it just shows you have to call to see if these things are in stock before buying over the internet.

That first one is the one I have.... the magnetic and it is flat black.

Don't know why the second one is labeled as Steeda because its the 3D Carbon piece - not bad but pricey - AND that price is unfinished - you really need to finish it and paint it from everything I have read........

Beautiful performance white!!

Yep - RT615s..... so far I really dig them. Obviously with a lower treadwear rating than I had with my NIttos on my previous 05, they will wear quicker.... so far I am happy. I will say that if you drive REALLY hard all the time and run alot at the strip on street tires, I can see those going alot quicker..... so consider that if you are trying to go easy on tire $$$.

But if seriously burnin them is a sproradic thing in your driving, I would recommend them. Grip and cornering seems great to me.

Get rid of the dumb fake gas cap and get the real retro look (CDC Trim Panel w/ GT emblem) , this will hold up better than any magnetic label or sticker !!! IMHO
