I think it's a great idea....

The only thing I would change is the tightness of the corners. I would make the curves tighter...like the roundness of a dime.

Also, take a look at some pics of the Foose Stallion. Some of thecorners of the stripesare curved corners, and someare straight corners. It's just something to think about.

 

since asking for opinions...

maybe consider a outline stripe- like a 3/32" pinstripe about1/8" away from the main area. Easy to do if masking with precut 'fineline' tape- just peel out the pinstripe you want. I think for some reason I might suggesta more 'squared' corners at the very front/center only...kinda get rid of the 'funnel' from the two radii coming together, and maybe give more of an illusion of a center bodyline on our rather flatly contoured hood.Just a couple more thoughts to kick around while paintshoppin

in any event, its different enough to stand out in the crowd just a little, and I think it looks prettygood around that shaker. Good to see something 'different' once in a while!

Looks great I say go for it and add the pinstripe as on outline for contrast!
