GT Front End
I thought I posted this already but I don't see anything in "my threads" so I'll ask it again, apologies for the repetition.
I just bought a GT front fascia for my 06 V6. It came and I read the thread, from the "how to" forum:
https://mustangforums.com/m_1121391/tm.htm
I am about to take the v6 front end off, but from the thread above it says I need parts - I called the place I got the GT front end from and they say I should have everything I need, no extra fasteners, nothing. They say everything I need is either on the car already. Can someone help me define what I really need to put this on before I take the v6 one off and can't get the GT one on? If there are fasteners that I need, can I get them at a Ford dealership or where can I get any needed parts? I also downloaded the exploded view of the front end and I took off the radiator top cover and from what I can see, I have all the parts that I need but I feel like I'm missing something if the thread above says I need parts.
Help!

newtakeoff.com is where I ordered it, it came with Diversified Marketing on the bill though. The whole lower front assembly (grill, GT lights, etc) was $379.99, it took $125 to ship it. It was only 21 pounds but the box was huge, so it took a little over $500 to get it to me. It looks nice, I will probably put it on this weekend, if I can get an answer about the "extra" parts needed (or not!).
Does your new front fascia have the plastic stiffeners at both corners? If not you'll need to remove the ones from your existing fascia and get the correct rivets from Ford to install them (though others have used bolts). Also the inner fender liner is different on the GT so you will need to order those parts for sure. Also there is a plastic air guide panel that goes from the bottom radiator support to the new GT fascia and though some have left it off, I prefer knowing the front end isn't going to flap at speed. All the parts didn't come to all that much, I even ordered new hardware for all to make sure I didn't miss anything. I ordered from an on-line Ford dealer and had it shipped - I never had to leave the house to get any of it.
I got the entire kit from Diversified Marketing. What color is your car? I am looking for a spare V6 performance white front fascia, I got rid of mine and now wish I'd of kept it...

Diversified marketing told me they sent me everything I needed but I just got the lower fascia, the grill and the lights all in one connected piece. Did your "kit" include any hardware? I certainly didn't get any.I called them and they said I have everything I needed but after reading the "how to" I went to Ford - they sold me a couple of new mud flaps to go over the tops of the front wheels, and an "isolater" which is nothing more than a $60 piece of foam. They said this is different from the v6 isolater. I got busy with a really nasty water pump problem on my son's car over the weekend, didn't get to attempt putting it on. Hope to soon though!
My car is Redfire, would definitely be willing to sell the front end but the shipping for the GT one was over $120.... I certainly would entertain any offer if you want it.

You dont NEED the fender lines some people have them some dont, you should get the splash gaurd because the 6 doesnt have one at all prolly cost you 30 at a ford dealer the part number is 5R2Z*17626*BA also you will need a wiring harness for the fogs you can use the one from street scene alot of people have had great sucess with it and scrming helped design it
Thanks again, finishing up the engine install in my 66 Fastback, kinda put this project on hold for a week or two. There is an annual car show that I've been trying to get my 66 ready for and it is coming up in about a month - and need to get that engine in! I will do this facia install in the next week or two, thanks for all the advice. I will try it and repost when done.
Well, I took it apart this past weekend and put the GT front end on. I had everything I needed, I had went to Ford and got 2 new splash guards. It took about an hour+, but I had to run over to Home Depot to get some longer rivets to put the blinker/marker lights on. I bought this GT front end from Diversified Marketing and it appears as though they got a little happy drilling the old ones out (or whomever took it off). At any rate, it went really well, was not very hard at all to install.
So, as a summary, the only thing that is needed is a pair of new, front splashguards and they cost me $19.40 for one, and $15.93 for the other... not sure why they are different prices or which is which, but the splash guards need to be lower for the lower GT front end. No new hardware, no special tools, other than a rivet gun. Now onto getting my Cervini B2 spoiler painted and installed.
