Default Modified Shaker Scoop

I modified my Shaker scoop last night. The only thing I didn't like about the newer Shakers was the huge plastic shroud under the scoop. I saw a few guys trimming theirs down, so decided to do the same. Plus, it will help from keeping the engine heat trapped under the plastic.
I trimmed the shroud a 1/2" around the water channel using my Dremel & a cut-off wheel. I bought some door edge weatherstrip & put it along the new cut edge to seal the scoop assembly to the hood.
Here's a before & after pic.

leo,
Looks good. Nice job! I saw your post on allford mustangs.
I'm also thinking about the chrome edge trim I saw done on another, it looks nice also.
