Default cali dream hood

I know there have been a few posts on this topic before, but the ones I read were pretty outdated. I want to know if anyone has installed this hood, and was it difficult? I've read a couple of places where people say bodyshops wanted to charge out the @$$ because it was hard to get it right. True? Also, if you have pics of this hood installed I'd like to see um....I'd LOVE to see um on black! :-) Thanks!

We installed one on one of our managers mustang. Install wasn't really to difficult. Pretty much just like any hood. Just have to take your time to get the lines even. His car is blue and I'll get some pics up for you. Really not too difficult with 2 people though.

i love it. hood wasn't perfect though. its lined up as good as it can get and a few places still don't match up. people can say what they want but i think thats gonna be the case with just about any aftermarket hood. check the sig for pic.

I have it and can attest that it was a pain to get lined up right, but maybe that is because I did it by my self. love it though

I went with a 2nd tier fab shop and paid a lot less than buying from a professional outfit like RK, but ended up paying more in the long run because it required a lot of rework & prep. Wherever you go plan on doing some fitment..... Just take your time and it will look great!
