Turtle Wax Ice
I bought this today to try it. I'm pretty picky about what i use on my car, and have been using Adam's Butter Wax after trying various different products. Today I tried the Ice on my car and was kind of unsure about it. I put it on and in seemed greasy. It went on super easy.. but felt weird when I took it off.
After wiping it down twice with a microfiber towel, it did not have that waxed feel to it.. so I decided to put a coat of Adam's wax on it too.
I have to say.. I have never seen my car look this good in a while. I attribute it to the Turtle Wax Ice..
I do think that a good traditional wax is needed before or after.. but this stuff is like putting on a few coats of glaze.. but a lot easier. It really gives a deepness to the finish.
Tonight I decided to fix up my mom's Jaguar.. It's black.. they use a damn gas station car wash.. and live off a dirt road.. so the paint was a nightmare.
I used Adam's polish first.. then Optimum's Poly Seal.. then Adam's Buttery wax...
It looked OK.. then i decided to give the Ice another shot.. and man.. did it make a difference. Really hid the swirl marks and other damage.
All in all..at first this stuff feels strange.. but my first impression is that is can't be used alone.. but is great for a really deep shine in conjunction with a more traditional wax. Much better than the wax by itself. Also.. it makes the plastic moulding look great.... also leather.. would probably look good on clean tires too.

I have never waxed before but i heard that Ice is a pretty good product, depending on what form of it. Some people didnt like the thick rub on wax but alot of people were happy with the spray. So i bought the Ice detailing spray and i was pretty amazed with it. Alot of people said the whip (yes i said whip) looked great after using it. I like the stuff so i have been using the Ice for about a month now detail spraying once a week after a good wash.

Wow thats a nice collection lol. How does the clay bar work? I looked at all of those products and just went with the detailing because it seemed the easiest haha.
