Default Cervinis and the window scoops...

Ok Guys & Gals...
The cervinis look the closest to the old "shelby" scoops and I like 'em. One question though: Do they come with something that looks like a grilleor do I need to come up with something on my own?

and on the ducktail spoiler it does cover the stock spoiler holes correct?

Thanks ahead of time.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

I am almost positive the scoops come with little grilles

The ducktail covers the holes...as long as you are talking about the original big one. They have a newer smaller one too that looks just like the CDC one, and that one does not cover the holes.

Check the gallery for some other pics. I have the whole kit from Cervinis and they do have the screens that go into the side window scoops and the front bumper cover on each side. The ducktail covers the holes from the original spoiler.

I just wish the lowers came with screens too. I think that might look good as well.

Here's a big question...has anybody gone to the trouble of cutting holes and doing the duct work/body work to make these scoops functional? Was just wondering if anybody did and how much trouble it was?

They didn't send the screens for my hood scoops and had to put them in later [&:]

I don't know of anyone who has done the body work......sounds like a major job.

I am sure someone as made them functional but you might have to do some searching even outside this site to find them...And +1 yes the spoiler does cover existing holes and requires you to drill new ones

Window scoops are one piece paint and double side tape on.
Am i reading this wrong or are you talking about side scoops? the side scoops did not come with any screens or coverings to block the air. there Idea is to paint the (car) black behind where the scoop is mounted. Oh I have tried to make a screen/mesh or block for them but ther are so many angles with car and side scoop that I couldnt do it.

My hood came with screens. My ram air kit the screen came 4 months later, but I had already made one.

as far as the ductail spoiler I do not Know.
Good luck the parts seem to fit very good. Body Man was Impressed with there quality.

Eric6913 is a member that has the functional side louver kit.
He's doing his car like a race car look (road course) with tow hook etc...
Very cool.
His louvers have duct hoses going to the rear brakes.
As far as having something similar to the 65 Fastbacks, I don't know if there's something like that out there yet or not.

As far as functionality here is a thought: Agent 47 makes a functional quarter panel (and front bumper cover inserts) check it out AGENT47
